Changes are coming to the 2022 Audi A3 and its performance-focused variant, the S3. The two cars skipped the 2021 model year, but that wait seems to have been worth it. These two models have the 2022 Audi changes we’re most excited about at Audi Shreveport.
New Interior Features
Audi is rolling out a brand-new infotainment system for 2022 models, and that includes the A3 and S3. This new system comes with smart-home connectivity, maintenance reminders, access to radio streaming and on-demand content, and lots of personalization options.
Other interior features include standard heated front seats with four-way lumbar support, a panoramic sunroof, leather seating with contrast stitching, and three-way automatic climate control. On the S3, new S sport seats provide enhanced support during spirited drives in Shreveport, Louisiana.
For the first time in its 25-year history, the A3 will be offered with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system that gives the car an extra push during launches. In some scenarios, it can even enable the car to coast with the engine off, helping conserve fuel.
The S3 also gets an 18-horsepower increase over the 2020 model and a torque boost of 15 lb-ft. Plus, the S3’s upgraded suspension system now rides even lower to the ground than before.
That about sums up the major changes for the 2022 Audi A3 and S3. For a closer look at this incredible pair of cars, visit Audi Shreveport in Louisiana.
